Selling out every single show of their 2023 and 2024 Adelaide Fringe seasons, Extra Curricular has been called “Fringe cabaret at its absolute best” (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Kids in Adelaide), “A must-see for teachers as well as anyone who has worked in an office” (⭐⭐⭐⭐.5 Glam Adelaide), and “Wildly relatable for teachers and parents alike, Extra Curricular will have you giggling like school children all the way to sports day” (⭐⭐⭐⭐.5 HifiWay Pop Chronicles).

 

Created by Adelaide arts and music stalwarts (and qualified teachers) Libby Trainor Parker and Matthew Trainor, the dynamic duo have four decades of experience with marking, planning, yard duties, sports days and staff meetings and they have compiled it all in a silly cabaret show celebrating the very career that brought them together in the first place.

Covering everything from parent teacher interviews to staffroom politics, sports days to PD sessions, nothing is off limits and everything is delivered with a healthy dose of humour and appreciation for our unsung heroes.
