Chronically comical, award-winning endo cabaret heads for the Hills for one show only at Mount Barker
Presented by Libby Trainor Parker, sponsored by Inspiring South Australia, Endo Days will play at Auchendarroch House for one show only on August 4.
The award-winning comedy cabaret aims to educate, empower and ‘endo-tain’ patients, supporters, health practitioners, and community surrounding the one in nine people with the incurable pain condition.
Having enjoyed four sold-out seasons at Adelaide Fringe with five-star reviews, Endo Days is hitting the road as part of a book tour promoting Libby’s memoir of the same name.
“Endo Days is such a fun show and I have been wanting to bring it to the Adelaide Hills for ages! The show resonates with endo patients, as well as their partners, doctors, and supporters,” Libby Trainor Parker says. “I was lucky enough to attend the Endo High Tea in the ballroom at Auchendarroch House in March with Deanna Flynn Wallis and her family. I know endo is a topic very close to their hearts, so I am looking forward to sharing our stories and meeting Hills endo friendos at the show next month.”
Endo Days is a moving, hilarious, educational and empowering show with original songs, with comedian and author Libby Trainor Parker telling jokes and stories backed by a four-piece band led by her husband Matthew Trainor.
Libby was diagnosed with endometriosis at the age of 36, which was 22 years after presenting with symptoms, and she has since dedicated her life to endo awareness through entertainment and education, having been a director on the board of Pelvic Pain Foundation Australia, worked with Australian Coalition for Endometriosis, administrator of Endo Support SA, and was co-creator and writer of PPEP Talk (Periods, Pain and Endometriosis Program), a state and federal funded education initiative developed in response to the National Action Plan for Endometriosis.
Endo Days is on tour in regional South Australia thanks to sponsorship from Inspiring South Australia.
